The Growth Hub will get SMEs investment ready, improve their governance, provide access to funding, and business development to expand to regional and international markets. Our goal will be to get these SMEs to the point where they are appealing to commercial funds.

The Growth Hub will directly target agribusiness SMEs in Sub-Saharan Africa with an initial focus on East, Southern Africa, West and Central Africa.

Impact measurement findings help us analyze our results and fine-tune our program to better serve agri- entrepreneurs. To contribute evidence to the broader sector, we will regularly share what we’ve learned.

Check eligibility:

  • Location – Enterprises that are registered and operating in Africa.
  • Sector – Must be providing goods and services in the agricultural sector
  • Revenue – The enterprise must have annual revenues between USD 250K to
    USD 5M
  • Business Compliance – The enterprise must be compliant with all relevant
    statutory obligations such as filing of tax returns
  • Company stage: The enterprise must be an early-stage enterprise. They should
    have been operational for more than three years and should have at least 2-
    years of audited accounts.
  • Proven concept and commitment – The enterprise needs to demonstrate the
    solution already works and they are ready to take it to the next level
